Well I have been asked to do this and I think it is a very good idea.

At the weekend I started prep on a 3 week building / DIY adventure to turn my house upside down inside. This is mainly for light reasons... Upstairs is nice and bright, downstairs is dark.

It is a unique renovation of an Old Coach House in the East End of London, however the builders decided that the living area should be in the darkness and the bedrooms upstairs in the very light apex of the roof!

Hopefully with my Google Sketchup Plans and photo's you will see what I am talking about and why I am doing this. The aim is to update as frequently as possible with the before/during and after photo's.

Walls have to be knocked out, new ones put in as well as the whole kitchen been moved.. It will take the builders a couple of weeks to do their bit before we embark on decorating, laying flooring and adding finishing touches to the place.
