99.9% completed

As per the title. A few gaps to fill and a few spots to touch up with the paint and a mirror/picture to hang here and there, but now I don't have to go home and put on my painting gear anymore!!!

In order the images show from entering, the spare (man cave) room, main bedroom with en-suite, upstairs to main living area, kitchen and main bathroom.

Update

Update, getting closer now. Flooring is down in the main living area and furniture organised. Looking at getting a Projector now!!

Flooring down and Hallway painted and also some new furniture in the main bedroom and a move around (images of that later this week).

Kitchen tidied after been a store room...

Just the 2nd bedroom to sort now and then a quick lick of paint in the two bathrooms.

Update..

Still here! Over the weekend we managed to finish the Kitchen completely (all those fiddly bits like glossing the windows etc...) and lay the flooring upstairs as well as prep for the hallway flooring to be done this week.

The trim needs to go onto the flooring upstairs as well as dust busting. Will post some images when the trim is on and the furniture is in place :)

Roughly 2 weeks left ;)

Kitchen Flooring & Living Area

Kitchen flooring was my weekend challenge. First I had to cut and lay some 6mm concrete backer boards, prime with the (green) latex paint in preparation for laying the wire for the underfloor heating... Toasty!

The boards are fixed with adhesive and galvanised nails, it took longer to fit them than it actually did to tile the floor!!

The tiles are now in place and I will be tackling the grouting on Monday, giving the adhesive time to go off.

In the mean time we have also been painting the main living area which will be complete Sunday along with the hall way. This just leave the flooring to lay and the TV to mount.

Once that is done we can tackle the spare room.

Were still looking good for the end of November, possibly even the 3rd Weekend!!

Weekly Update

OK, this weekend we got the kitchen functional and floored / moved into our bedroom.
Lot's of images to give those who know what it looks like an idea of the work done.
Also are images of what is left to do!
I will be tiling the kitchen floor / laying underfloor heating this weekend as well as blitzing the painting in the soon to be new living area. The following week should see all of the flooring laid and then the 2nd bedroom decorated/floored.

Been a while, it is difficult doing a full days work, coming in and doing 4 hours on the house before crashing! You tend to not have the time to update blogs...

Anyway, Kitchen tiling done apart from the grouting which will happen tonight. This will mean the kitchen can then be used (Yay! No more Tesco Sarnies for dinner!) with only the floor tiles to be done. They are scheduled in for a few weeks from now.

The main bedroom has been painted/glossed too. All that needs to be done is the flooring and moving in of the furniture which I will tackle for the remainder of this week and the weekend.

Getting there and I can now see a Plan on how to tackle this job.
